Hi every body,
@ Supercubber, all of the stuff you need can be had online or via the Local Hobby Shop (LHS). If you need advice what will work or should I say what has been demonstrated to work feel free to ask But I think due to the length of the response we had better open another thread for that.
@ Scigs30, the UHU is epoxy I use for various small jobs where the material being assembled is something other than a wood wood bond. For the normal wood/wood glue jobs I use Ponal Aliphatic glue (water proof) glue. Stuff is very fast. I avoid the use of CA type adhesives as they once dry simply are too brittle for me and are also very tough to sand. Once the Ponal is gone I am going to use the same type of glue from UHU, I trust UHU and would not use anything else. (the Ponal was left over so it has to go first)
@Sky9pilot, thank you I build from scratch from time to time, last project was a Diana Glider out of the 1930's with 4 channel RC upgrade. These kits are pretty good and for me a nice time trip into my youth.
@ Thorn3, Hi Bob, the motor is a 15 Gramme BL from Pichler in Austria. I have good luck with these little gems and the one I am installing is a known good one as it powered "Old Blue" for a long time without issue, I am however upgrading to a somewhat better ESC.
