Inked Panel Lines/Rivets?

Postby ADW 123 » Tue Aug 02, 2011 3:39 pm

i was inking on panel lines and rivet heads onto my Hellcat, and i was wondering if i add the panel divisions/rivets to the bottom of surfaces. by surfaces i mean the bottom of the wing and elevator. i have the top of the elevator, and both sides of the rudder done. i also have the top of the wings with panel division lines. the fuselage makes sense to me so i will leave it out of the question. the plans give me no detail as to what the aircraft looks like from the bottom in this respect.

i also have lines on top of the ailerons, rudder, and elevator control surfaces, because they were fabric covered. i realize that you might be able to see those lines of where the frame touches the fabric. i assume that the bottom should not have lines drawn on, as they are flat. do correct me if i am wrong, so i can add them.

any info is greatly apreciated. i am coming around the home stretch and adding finishing details onto my hellcat.
