My Neiuport 11

Postby MickeyB49 » Sat Jul 30, 2011 10:02 am

I have been here a while now and thanks to ADW I now have a clue how to post pics. Thanks ADW! Another reason I have never posted is because somehow my planes do not seem to come out as good as those I see posted here. Anways, here goes:

I am northwest of Columbus about 60 or so miles. Little town called Mount Vernon in Knox County.

I don't care who you are, building these models takes a learning process we all go through and I'm sure every one of us has a plane or two that we would'nt like posted. But ,the reward is in your eyes, to have as your experience and knowledge grows. Your nieuport looks fine.

Thank you for all the wonderful comments. I love these Guillow biplanes and wish they would bring back all of their old WW1 planes!

Hello MickeyB49---

The little Nieuports are my favorite WWI craft--they have eye appeal and they did well what they were built to do (setting aside the occasional lower-wing deconstruction). Speaking of looking great, your model is right up there with the winners. Excellent job. I have a Guillow's Nieuport kit sitting under my work table, and my fingers are getting itchy.

Sorry for being so late posting my message. I'll be surfing the build site much more often now.
