F4U Coirsair

Need some help from anyone who has built the Corsair. I'm building the retractable landing gear option.The attached drawing show the gear pinned into the BF2 block which essentially keeps it from being retractable, if I am reading the drawing correctly. Is the drawing correct or am I reading it wrong? Any help would be appreciated.

Go to virtual aerodrome and look for mattolson build of the corsair a number of years back. There are some photos of the landing gear build...matt
