Best practice to form/carve/sand the leading edge of wing

Folks,
Are there any tools that can be used to form/carve/sand the leading edge of the wing? Or is the only real way of doing this is sandpaper and X-Acto knives and taking my time? I have read that we should use a sanding block to try to keep the leading edge uniform.

Any advice?

Sanding the leading edge with a small sanding block is really the only way to do it. I use a piece of wood that is 1-1/4" wide by 1" tall and 5" long. I use 50 or 80 grit sandpaper to get the rough shape. Then i switch to 150 grit. You can sand against the grain at first, but then you need to start sanding with the grain. This will keep your the leading edge nice and straight.
