So this is the p-41 i started after my first attempt (a p-51 mustang).
Just starting out. The first thing I learned since my first build is this: there is a little booklet that comes with the model. Read that. There are so many tips in there that I was able to apply to this model.
A bit of the fuselage. I also got the hang of trimming and sanding a bit when things don't fit exactly according to plan (:roll:)
Fuselage and wings, pre-sanding iirc. My dihedral got screwed up. I was mad.
I think covering the bottom section added under the wing and putting on the section of paper canopy were the biggest pains in this kit. Yes I know there are supposed to be windows in that paper section but I think it will look better as is.
Also note that the bottom was not shrunk at this point and the creases in the wings have been massaged out since.
Needs a couple more coats of 50/50 white glue and water to seal it up and then paint.
