Hi rayd! This plane has just a profile fuselage with a built up wing . I beleive its a top flite plane but I dont rem the name of it. I need to get some silk span for it maybe pirate from one of my guillows planes!! Yes ive cut my fingers numerous times starting 049s mostly! The dreaded kick backs!!We always used a cheater stick or better yet a electric starter powered by a battery. maybe i can post pics soon. We also flew lill satans!! This had the boom in the back and was insanely FAST!!! Mark

Bill, for your B-17, will you use 1 fuel tank on it? I realized that if both engines ran on the same fuel tank, then they would most likely run out of fuel at the same time so then we dont have to fuss with trying to land it with one engine going and the other out.

I have done it that way, yes. It is hard to get them to run that way tho. I'll just use two .051 with attached gas tanks, top em off good while they're running, and keep it close to the ground at 3 minutes. The plane will fly flat and level on one motor, if it's already got the airspeed... Remember, this is "rock on a string" 1/2a flight, not a predator drone... The real trick is lots of offset on the rudder, to keep her turning right...
