Bravo! Really glad you got some decent flights.

twospruces seems to like the 900 series Typhoon. The report is that it's a good flyer. The Birddog, is on my to build list.

I suggest as your next build, The Typhoon because of its dihedral at the f 2 or 3 wing rib (I can't remember which) has the lift of a nearly straight wing but the nice turn of a nice fully dihedral wing of say the Mustang. It makes for a very nice flyer.


The DeHaviland Chipmunk is also a pretty good flier I have one done in red and black that looks pretty good although The wings seem to want to come off after a few hard landings. I might suggest some stringers to pass through the body into a wing box type structure to hold the plane together a little better. ALSO a weight box to put lead or ballast type stuff in the nose to balance it out better seems to be a better solution than clay.
