It won't break. I used Nylon fishing line that was a braided 40 pound test. But for pure silky smooth control (in a flat wing like the Li'l Jumpin Bean by Carl Goldberg) nothing beats piano wire. I used to fold the wire over like the end of a paper clip and I attached fishing swivels to the control lines. I remember having an awful great time doing that. That Carl Goldberg was my all time favorite. It was designed to be built flat with small sections of the ribs that were removed after assembly. It really was a great flier. It had great hardware, blind nuts for the motor, small locking wire connectors to keep the wheels on the landing gear. Have a ball with that Corsair, it looks like a tough bird.
