Every December we try to do an sentimental exercise of remembrance of the Wright brother's first flight on December 3, 1903, by flying a model airplane on that day. Today is the 110th anniversary and we flew our profile CE-180 as our memorial flight.
A couple more bits of Wright Flyer trivia. This afternoon, Norma and I went to the Air Transportation Museum at Wm. Hobby Airport to donate some stuff. Over the years we have collected a bunch of aviation related stuff and now as we're reaching the end of our journey, we are disposing it to the museum.

The last bit of trivia, this past May, Norma and I took a short vacation in Washington DC and had the opportunity to see the original Wright Flyer at the NASM. A memorable event for us.
