Ask other modelers for a little help / knowledge ?

How easy is it to remove the servos once you have glued them in? Do you prefer glue as opposed to a skirt to stabilize the servo and two Nylon screws?

More pics are on the way, I had a ton of other stuff that kept me busy this week plus Thorn3 and I might do a project together that could end up as a dual build thread here but more to that later. It is not really as complicated as it looks though in fact airplanes have been built this way since there have been airplanes ... this is just a miniature version of it. :-)

Thorn3 I sent you an e-mail about the Nieuport aileron rigging let me know ... and as far as the glue versus screws goes. Well screws are metal and weigh something, a little batch of two component glue weighs practically nothing and likely will outlast the rest of the plane :-)

Cheers, jens

LOL! Yes, but you know me though, if I can put it in a model, I have to be able to take it back out too! Not 'metal' screws... 'Nylon'! They weigh the same as glue. But that is what makes our builds so fun. The contrast in styles.

I got the Nieuport drawings. Will see about making them somewhat larger.

Sure, we can see about making the Nieuport a dual build thread. That would make it very interesting.

Does that statement include dumb ideas as well??? LOL Thorn (in my side for over 30 years now) Glue works just fine stop worrying and concentrate on getting your kit ordered and getting that 0.02 caliber machine gun built so that you can hunt those high desert mosquitos

Ah... you know you love my ideas.

No mosquitoes... but there's always my wife... Since both are blood suckers.. I guess it counts.

Now get some work done on that 109 old man! We have the next plane to build! Check Skype later... must get some Zzz's now.

Thanks supercubber :D

Here is another "great" video made with my lousy camera showing the tail doing what it is that tails generally do. Click on the pic and it will through the magic that is the internet take you to Photobucket

Nothing wrong with RC supercubber .. snap a Guillows up and build right along. BTW no idea if this thing will actually fly but most of the stuff I built did manage to get in the air.

Well... Two things will let me know if I can or not. One. Where do I get the stuff for it? And... Two. How much does the entire setup cost? Excluding the 400 series plane of course.

Looks great, can't wait to see her finished. Are you building the balsa structure with the UHU tube glue? I have never used that stuff before but have seen it at the local store.

Nice looking start...must agree the laser cut kits looks very nice. I usually build from scratch, but must try one of these kits...

Supercubber95: If you buy all new (minus radio and kit), depending on quality of components, you can expect up to about $150.

3 servos, ESC, Rx, motor, battery and odds and ends.

The build is coming along very nicely! Did you decide on the motor?
