Doping a 504 Spitfire wing

Hi Guys

I have a feeling I know the answer but I would be very grateful for some confirmation or, of course, alternative ideas.

I have just shrunk my model with water and I am very pleased with the result especially as it was my first attempt at 50/50 white glue mix.

Whilst shrinking I used some scrap balsa to hold each of the three sections off of my board and then pinned the section down and misted them one at time to hold shape.

I take it that is how I dope the wings one section at a time - top and bottom with 30 mins of drying between coats and swapping sections.

I've got to say I am totally sold on Esaki tissue - this was the first use of it and I love it.

The only problem I've had was the cloth I used to cover the shrunk tissue so I could shrink the remaining wing section had some oil on it so I have two unsavoury marks. The good thing is that its the section that the main fuse sticks to so no one will see it. But I will know it was there :x

Thank you in advance.

I will post pictures when I have completed the model.
