Building my 900 typhoon has exposed me to having to cut notches for the first time. I read somewhere about sanding sticks...all I can say is THANKS! What a great technique. Gotta pay attention to the stock dimensions, and deeper notches need deeper "sticks" to stay straight, but..the end result is awesome and little to no split pieces to repair.
