With essay type questions "RTFQ" and "ATFQ" are commonly scrawled in red ink by the graders. A lot of other stuff too that wasn't very nice in some of the schooling I took.
Some times I still wonder if I correctly answered the questions on the correct size and color earring for females to wear and the angle of torpedo tubes on a Los Angeles class submarine, but I got promoted so I must have done ok. The Navy went through a period of condensing multiple ratings into one so we all got to take advancement tests having questions on stuff that we had no clue about. My day job now requires strict attention to detail to search out and find the mistakes of others, but I bet I could still screw up an 800 series build. Glad to have your perspective and experience around.
