Spirit of St. Louis LC to Static Build

Thanks to Guillows for the kit... this kit is tricky to build especially with the complicated landing gear which I think is the trickiest in the entire Guillows fleet. The LC parts really do justice. Some of you who have been on the forum for as long or longer than I have remember when I first signed up and posted my Spirit of St. Louis build here... it was quite a disaster and I am very happy with the improvements I have made. You wouldn't even know the same person built it.

I built the kit with no modifications save for a few gussets on the wing for some more support to prevent wrinkling under the strength of the Silk span shrinking. Shot acrylic color with an airbrush and am not totally finished with the painting.
