LOL Mr. Parker. every thing is better now. the wing looks great. im sheeting the fuse, and sealing the tail feathers now.

Luckly my younger brother has little to no intrest in tampering with my model aviation activities.

ADW, if for whatever reason Lustrecoat paints don't work out (but Im sure they will), Rustoleum makes an engine enamal that is fuel proof in a variety of colors. If you do use this paint, make sure it says gas and oil resistant and resistant to 500F on the can. However the darker colors tend to go on better than the lighter ones.
Current favorite airplane: P-40 warhawk, F-35 is close second

im sure that the lustrecoat paint will go on just fine. i am very happy with my work so far on this model. i have sheeted about 3/4 of the area o want sheeted on the fuse now.

Right now Im working on a RC kit (not ARF :D ) and a 500 series warhawk to try a new covering technique that will later be used on the U/C model if successful. Once the RC kit is done I will start on the U-control model.
I really have learned alot from the build, cant wait to see the finished model

got fuse all covered plus three coats of aerogloss fuel proof dope. i covered wet. elevator finished.

Nice job!
Were the bellcrank, control horn, etc, included in the kit?

Oh, and for whatever paint you use, its a good a idea to test for fuel proofing, just to be safe. Spray some on a piece of scrap wood or similiar and once its completly dry drop a few drops of raw fuel on it and wipe it around, and see if any paint comes off.

thanks Mr. Duckett. pulsepilot- i tried some other paint from autozone, and it rubbed off with some glow fuel. ill just use the stuff mr. parker recomended. the bellcrank was no supplied in this kit. it was somewhat incomplete as is had been tampered with before. im not sure if the original kits came with them.

They do come with them. I just received a Dauntless from E-Bay, and it's so old that it comes with a metal bellcrank, and all wood ply... Even has a woodedn prop for rubber power included. I'm gonna put my .09 on it...

thats interesting Mr. Parker. i have to make some changes to the stab slot on the fuse in order for the stab to fit in, and make it so the elevator tie wont get in the way
