Look out "BELOW"

The below I'm refering too is below freezing. I keep a lot of my spray paints, paints, glues, cements, gasket sealers , and some other things affected by freezing out in my unheated garage and if they don't get put in the house or somewhere heated most of them will be ruined. A lot of you live in the banana belt so not to worry, but for us folk in the upper paralels fall comes with those nice frosty mornings. Just thought I might save someone a few bucks as I found out the hard way, later.

Funny how just up from where cliffm is it can be 45 below in winter and 110 in the summer, paint does atomize really well when it's nice and toasty! In the winter you might have to put your car battery in the house, never mind spray paint.

krylon

I use the clear Krylon outside in the winter. Not when its 10 below, but if there is a sunny day and the can has been inside(warm) it sprays ok - a lot of the voc's evaporate off if you leave the project outside for a couple of hours, but you do need to bring your project into the house to warm up a bit for the Krylon to fully set. It gives off a bit of smell, but much much less.

It aint a perfect system, but if you get a bad case of cabin fever in Feb...
