Hi Adw
Thanks for that. I did read the thread you mentioned and I saved it in my favourites but I must have missed that bit.
I learnt some valuable lessons last night:
1) Do not work when frustrated
2) Do not then continue to work when tired
3) Buy some canopy glue
I finally got the wind shield to stick on the one side that wasn't playing the game after finding some superglue. For how much I thought I had messed up the area last night in the cold light of day its not that bad - not that good but again not too bad. Again its a lesson learned and I'll be getting some canopy glue for my next build. The wing should hide most of it from a distance. Also if it flies none of that will matter!!!
I also sanded the paper down to the wood on the fuse to fix it to the rudder and I managed to sand too much (Was still angry at this point) and the tissue has dropped slightly in a small section. Not the end of the world but I'm sure that if I was fresh and calm it would not have happened.
Anyway here are some pictures of the progress of the plane glued together. They were on my phone yesterday at night so the quality is not so good.
We cant build perfect models straight away...Unfortunately! If the next build is just a little bit better I'll be happy.
History paper - I don't miss those - what era are you studying?
It must be hard trying to fit in building with school work.
Thanks again for the information.
Tom
