Cessna 170 Model Plane

Postby PlanemanMJP » Thu Dec 15, 2011 1:54 pm

I just started building model planes again. I started with the Guillows Cessna 170.
I made a few mistakes so far but one thing I can't seem to figure out is the windshield.
How do you get the windshield on this model. There are no instructions at all.

There must be something I'm missing on how to mold the windsheld into place.

Sorry RG I don't have pics yet. I completed wings, rudder, tail and fuselage including
landing gear and nose cone. Kind of messed up on the nose cone fitting but it
looks OK. I still cannot for the life of me figure out how to attach the windshield.
The design makes it difficult to mold windshield around to fit. Someone out
there must have done this model before and hopefully will share with me how they
did it.
