Guillows 4101 Goldwing Update

that's right it doesn't say build pictures
i have decided on Bob Smith Industries Insta Cure CA glue and
Great Planes EZ sander so i don't sand right through wing.
then a ceiling tile from Home Depot to build it on.
what can i do about T pins?
i really can't leave any lying around the house.
i figured out to put big clear box over kit while it's drying to
keep pins from disappearing.

I got a crap ton of T pins from AC Moore.

i need pins that won't get misplaced.
here's some from Midwest through Hobblinc.
1 i can clamp with a strip clamp from Zona.
2 use regular clamps
3 put wax paper and weight on it.
4 don't clamp at all, i'm not building the space shuttle.
5 limit use of these pins and write down on notepad how many out/in.

1 went to walmart. didn't have time to get nail files for sanding kit.
2 decided on red push pins.will get them in my next hobbylinc order.
i'll just use them sparingly.
because of little critters in house.
i didn't say it would be exciting.
i'm in it for the relaxation factor.

Little critters?? Cats? Ferrets running loose? children? No, wait. They can be taught not to take things.

Sounds like a magnetic building board is what you could use. Kind of expensive, though. Never used them myself.

i wouldn't mind taking them in for x-ray's
to look for missing pins
but the girlfriend would absolutely flip!

the ceiling tile as workboard didn't tally up.
looks like they're $12 and up at home depot.
SMALL great planes pro building board from tower is $14.
i don' t really order anything from tower, good place though.
so i say 36" board from hobbylinc $20!
who i do have a list of things to order from them.

i will include some other things with order.
will tough out glues situation with whatever i have now.

bought emory boards at walmart yesterday.

noticed they say 'two textures'

i think they'll work out pretty good for sanding.

hobbylinc order update.

yesterday they e mailed 'order shipped'.

so ordered Friday and they shipped on following Wednesday.

that's good enough for me.

looking forward to ordering workboard & some other stuff from them.

copied number and pasted it in link then it said order gets here Tuesday.

nothing in this order is for Goldwing but

helps figure out how workboard order will go.
