I picked up this kit and am thinking about building an rc float version, although the floats cannot be very heavy.

I am currently building the Beaver on floats. I am trying to attach the floats to the plane and I am stumped as to how to line everything up. If I use the little slots in the floats the struts do not have enough play to reach the fusg. If I try to do it free hand there are just too many variables to control to attach them correctly. Need a little help.....Thanks................. Dennis
