PAINT OVER SILKSPAN

Postby UPLANDBOY » Wed Feb 29, 2012 7:12 pm

Does anyone have a suggestion for type of panite to cover silspn that has been applied and oated with a 50-50 mixture of Titebond and water. I do not want to use dope. Perhaps paint from Michael's or craft shop can be used. Thank you for help. :D

I usually go to the crafts section at wal-mart and get the cheap acrylics, they are easy to mix for different colors and light on the pocket. You can thin them with water for air-brush use or for regular brush application. I've also used indoor latex housepaint with very good results. They mix the latex paint for any color in their charts ,but a quart of it leaves you a lot left to use for something else.
