Elmer's Glue

This is a question to the Elmer's users. I have come across a stock pile of Elmer's white glue and I am not sure it is the same that people use on this forum. I have never used it for my building and was considering trying it for covering. I heard it has changed and I think this an older stock. Below is a picture of the bottle. Please let me know if this is the right stuff.

Thanks Arlo. I thought it was but I heard about the formula change and see no mention of it on the bottle. The date on the label on the back says 2007.
I am most curious to see if Scigs knows if this is the same stuff he was using. Reason being, I have access to several gallons of the stuff and I know he was concerned that they had changed the formula. So Scigs, is this the same glue you can no longer find?

Are you still trying to find this? Like I said I have access to at least 10 gallons of it from what I saw at the 2 locations I visited this weekend. I'd be willing to pack some up and ship it too you. I'm not sure of the shipping cost. I'm in Connecticut and I know you are on the other side of the country. Just a thought. I know it's frustrating when something you are used to using disappears. I'm hoping to see Ambroid back on the shelves sometime soon but you never know. Does Elmers have a shelf life? If not, I'd probably get a couple of gallons to save for myself (providing I like working with it).

Steve, Thanks for the offer but I have a pretty good stock of Titebond White All Purpose glue, so I am good for awhile.

steve, i wouldnt be thinking too hard about elmers. its pretty simple stuff and to answer your question there is no shelf life that i would be woried about. it is water based so as long as it is sealed it will last forever.

Thanks Alex. It's not that I'm devoting too much thought to it beyond can I buy a gallon of it and expect to use it all before it goes bad. In the eleven years I've been doing this I have never used Elmer's glue. I heard stories about glue sticks going bad over time. I know this is not true because I am still using glue sticks I bought 8 years ago with no issues at all. I heard the old formula is no longer being made and I found a small stock pile so I was just curious.
