I like the bomb also. I noticed it right away, as I just broke my Guillows Dauntless bomb a few days ago and had to glue the tail back on it. It has a wire slide clip mount that requires a bit of pressure, to remove and install the bomb, which caused me to break it while horsing it off. I got back on the old Dauntless rc project, partly due to Bill's build here reminding me that one of these days I'll get it flying. After cutting off the old tail and building a lighter one, the plane now balances without 5000 pounds of nose lead. The old tail was built in my "build to crash" days, and was heavier than the pine plywood that is being using here.
Bill you must go through a few black ink cartridges, when the background prints with some grey color due to scanning these old plans. Ask me how I know about this from printing numerous enlarging plans and 3-views.
I've actually blocked in all the grey areas between the parts and stringers in the scan, and deleted them to save ink. Kinda like the reversal of inset planking.
Finally ready to put this one up in the air Bill, retracts and all:
