Just another day at Sea... Back to work aboard my ship... This is how the Anchorage Pilot gets on our ship. Plan to be bringing my models and supplies, so I will hope to have some updates at the Fokker Factory Soon! :D Mitch... I have a day off, so I will be gathering supplies... We sail tonight again from Tacoma, and this will be our "LONG" trip... Anchorage, Kodiak, then out to Dutch Hartbor... 12 days.

Joe,

I spent 11-1/2 years as a customer engineer for IBM and 3 years as a customer engineering supervisor for Prestige before turning to programming. The one thing you learn in IT service is that just when you thing you've heard it all you realize that you NEVER hear it all. You have my sympathies.

Modeling refreshes.

GAH Customer service engineer! My sympathies that is what they called me when I did house call repair work. I did that for 2 years. I VAUGELY recall the day I quit.

This time it wasn't the users fault aside from being fidgety.

For anyone's edification HP elite books have a touch pad that can be turned off with a double tap in the upper left hand corner.
so nervously tapping the track pad will turn on and turn off the track pad.
there is a little tiny pinprick sized LED to tell you if its on or off.
Light on means track pad off
