Straight tissue paper (cheap stuff from target)
I took a straight edge and got the right width of stripe that I wanted , cut the tissue paper to length, then I painted the tissue with some super thinned out white glue to get it wet and let the strip pre shrink and DRY, then peeled it up off the "backing material " (wax paper) then applied a bit of water to re activate the glue and applied just like you would do pin striping on a car.
I gotta Seal the model (have to run to the GOOD LHS on York Road to get supplies) and I gotta build a nose block for under the cowl. Put the windows on. Throw the landing gear on the wings, and install the wings. Those are done with blue from the LE to the 1st stringer and a red stripe down the 1st stringer and white underside and back edge. I got a piece of cheapo aluminum for the rubber band post and I THINK with 4-6 loops of 1/4 inch tan on a 6 inch prop, I can get 30-45 seconds of flight.
I used a full cell to hold the peg AND behind that holding the rod in place is 2 chunks of 1/8th plywood and those are glued right to the former AND the ribs AND the cell block. There is also a scrap 1/8th by 1/8th brace holding the wings together as an insurance that the wings STAY ON.
