Proceeds to do happy dance all across the floor of my house.

I will now have 200 bucks a month to spend on building model airplanes!

Congrats... Now its time to decide on which plane to buy first. If I was to buy one, I would get the Dauntless. Looks like a fun plane to build. Or maybe the Spirit of St. Luis. Either way my friend have fun and enjoy.

My wife and I have been married for 46 years. If asked the secret of a successful long term marriage we will both give the same reply, "Don't keep a loaded gun in the house." Enjoy your freedom!

Uh oh, my marriage may be doomed.

On the bright side, she'll be getting up at 4am to go to work while I laze around till 6am.

Funny the Spirit of St Louis was mentioned that was my first plane... It didn't go well. been gun shy of that one for a while. (I was maybe 10 years old)

However Yesterday I DID get to the hobby store and got the DH-2 Beaver. Because Yorktowne Hobby didnt have any 700 series in stock and couldn't bring my self to buy any of the PECK or SIG planes. (although I have been looking at that GeeBee Racer for a LONG time thinking of buying it. I was also going to buy original Mr Mulligan kit that they had found and re Wrapped . (1972 free flight scale champion) And they had a few early models Aeronica Champions (old enough the box art was different)

Hey Joe,

Congratulations! By the way I rid myself of the Alimony demon a couple years back. Gave me an extra 500 a month. Still broke. What's your aversion to the Peck kits?

Money.
I wanted to have more of it in my pocket. and I have about 4 kits sitting here ready to be covered. Buying new kits at the moment isnt a priority but I wanted the Beaver Kit. ( I really wanted the New 700 series but It wasn't available or a Laser cut Aeronica)
