The little decals and details really make the model. I'll need to look into what he is doing, as I've still been using a standard printer and an exacto knife for making small decals. Obviously not the same results.
Decal gifting is a nice thing to do. So many of us have manufactured decals laying around that we will never use also. I gave some nice waterslide decals to a modeler recently, that are used modern era US military jets. Only costs a stamp to send them, since they fit in an envelope.
