Thet all look good Bill. The Hurricane canopy framing in the other thread looks interesting.

Nice.
I am planning the hellcat at 36 inches. Just need time to start. Dont know about molding the canopy. It will be electric RC with fixed gear, just for park fun.
Hope you enjoy your build.

Did one at around 40". viewtopic.php?f=2&t=2655&p=18994&hilit=hellcat+125%25#p18994

I think Bill's done an enlarged version also. I used to make life difficult by trying to mold canopies in one piece, until I realized that the front part can be one molded piece, and the rear can simply be made from a flexed piece of clear sheet plastic. I did that on the Hellcat above, and even made the rear part sliding. It's sticky as heck however, and a real pain to slide. I may open it someday however, as I did a botch job  modifying the WB pilot that's in there, and would like to replace him. His cap is looks like a baseball hat without the flap.

Yep, did the Hellcat already...

I just build up the canopy with balsa, and cover the frame with sheet mylar that I have miles of from about a gazillion kits I've done...

and... we've blown the plan for the hellcat to 120" wingspan:

Almoist finished with the 9 500 series planes in 40" and will begin cutting 1/4 plywood shortly...

Very nice job. So you copied the actual sheets, then enlarge and transfer back to balsa. Thats a great idea.
Gettin excited to start now. I will keep in touch.
Thanks.....
