Thanks for having me. I am returning building after more than 10 or so years. Hopefully to stay this time. I was into scratch building large scale rc aircraft at one time. Now I spend most of my attention on finescale models. My son (9) and daughter (5) were bored and so I pulled a few 900 kits from the closet.... That lasted about ten minutes... After finishing one I seemed hooked again. I just finished the typhoon and the bird dog next to it is next. Once again thanks for having me. Mike

*we were not done in 10 mins... that was the kids attention span.. I ended up building the kits.*

Cool, Mike. Glad to have you onboard.

Maybe the kids will enjoy watching you fly your models.

Now theres a familiar story. 20+ years ago I was scratch building and flying every week - free flight was stil my thing then.

A couple of months ago I was given some kits by my dad to do with the kids- they lost interest in the build and said "call me when they are ready to fly". The bug has bitten hard again, and ive now built 2.5 bird dogs (I have a modified BD under construction), a typhoon, a skyraider, a javelin and an Edge (which sadly died in an argument with a moving box before it could fly).

Thanks everyone. Sorry to hear about the Edge. When I finished the typhoon i got intriqued with its appearance. So there for they will stay uncovered and unflyable. Well....i guess they could fly.... not gracefully.
