Vintage Guillows Question

Postby scigs30 » Fri Nov 15, 2013 2:56 pm

I know that in the early days, Guillows came out with a model line of 50 inch scale kits. Does anyone have any pictures of the 50 inch Piper Cub? Was it a J-3?

I believe it was a Piper J-2, kit number 605. Advertised wing span was 51". Plans are available for sale at the AMA web site: http://www.modelaircraft.org/files/P.pdf

This appears to be a 50" span Guillow's Piper Cub Cruiser designed by Lou Andrews.
