Guillow's Curtiss P-40

Postby Charles_c » Thu Feb 06, 2014 12:02 pm

Just finished the Guillow's P-40 (kit 501). This was a real straight forward "shake and bake" kinda kit.
I lost the exhaust stacks..... they're somewhere in the garage/shop. If/when I find them, I'll put them on.

Did this one as a Russian Lend-Lease aircraft.

Hi, if you PM to me your mailing address, I'll slip a set of exhausts into an envelope and and send them to you. No charge. Your P-40 looks good.

i have uses exhaust from other kinds of kits before. Sometimes the ones that come with the kit are too fake looking. and I have even left them off, and thought it looked better.

Simplefler (Al) has sent me a set of exhaust stacks, and I have them painted. Somehow they just do not look right on the plane.
I'm still debating.

Thanks, Al.
