That looks great! I have had one of those kits for well over a year now and haven't found the time to start it yet....maybe this will inspire me.
This too shall pass.

Thats a damn neat job of the wheel "wells". Did you make a mask and spray? If so, what did you mask with?

For the wheel wells I used the model well cover and placed iton some black tissue cut round it and applied the cut outs with normal tissue adhesive in my case tissue paste. I used easy dope toshrinkthe tissue on the whole model

Did you fly it? Looks light as hell. And the finish is what I go for on my FF planes, but never comes out that seemless, especially around the edges.

Not flow it yet can be difficult in the north of England what with the weather and most of the land being owned by some guy who whose ancestors were given it by William the conquered in 1066.

I Live in Pa. Phila. The wind and winter was bad here too. I still get like one day a week that winds are low. I thoght my problems were to do with my setup of thrust, and wing etc. but now see that a 38g plane does not handle even a wind just above 5mph very well. We have nothing much bigger than a football field either. That is silkspan. Looks very light. I have been trying all kinds of coverings lately.

The tissue is just ordinary modellers tissue bought from one of the sources here in the uk. My covering skills are improving but I still have a lot to learn from the many modellers on this site some of the coverings are masterpieces can be very inspiring to read different methods of covering always willing to learn!!!

Hi Limey, glad that you're feeling better and are back with us! :)

Your FW 190 looks great, a very nice build. The wing guns are especially impressive, how did you do them?

Hi zoomie cheers for the well wishes i made the guns from pieces of balsa stock from the kit and just carved the shape from the plan used the odd bit of asking tape to add effect. I also find it useful to make copies of various things from the kit plans by using the photocopy on my printer can come in very handy. Cheers limey
