Guillow's Piper Cherokee kit # 307 Need help please

I'm not totally green, but have only built one kit and so long ago I don't remember what happened to the plane...

I purchased 2 of these kits. One for grandson, one for me. I started mine first and have most of it complete. I'm resourceful, can work around most problems but need advice and answers to a few questions.

I love the kit. Parts are precise, building plan shows nearly everything I have to do and other sheets have plenty of info too, but the side view of the fuselage leaves me wondering about placement of top and bottom stringers. It's a pretty busy view ~ I think some terminate at "B7" and B8 formers but not sure.

It looks like the second side stringer breaks midway on B5 then continues to the end of the fuselage. Could someone tell me if some of the top stringers end at B7/B8? I know the important thing is that the stringers provide structural strength and shape. I'll guess if I have to, but would prefer not to.

The plan refers to adding notches to B7 & B8 (dotted line notches), but at first glance I thought the dotted notches were of stringers that terminate in that location. Not so?

Have other questions too, but don't want to be long winded. Help would really be appreciated.

Havent build that kit but the one im building the dotted lines refer to where stringers butt against the formers. You almost never bend stringers other than by specific direction so you can kinda tell by the notches. The plans always seem difficult to follow for the very top and bottom stringers.

You could also continue the stringers to fill the next triangle where the plan might show it ending at the former. I do that sometimes to "fill out" display models.

Yes - there is really no wrong answer here, as long as you build with symetry

I think we're all on the same page - terminate at former if no notch is in line and try to avoid bending. Have to say bending is required for some of the stringers and I've managed to accomplish it on most by being creative with rubber bands.

I'm learning from my mistakes, and considering how many I've made the next build should be perfect
Honestly considering buying this kit again because it's been fun.

One other question , I'm not sure if the icon in the tool bar above (Img) is for attaching pictures. If it is can you explain how to use it?

Will try what you suggested David. I used photobucket yesterday and it worked, but today my pic isn't showing... there's a stupid picture of a kitten where my pic was!

That's what I do also. Either phone or direct from my cam to the pc, and then resize.

If a person uses one of those photo sharing sites, then we see a (photo not found) notice and a picture of a cat LOL which is currently the default picture that some photo site is putting in there, in the post above.

Cats seem to always find a way of becoming a topic on here. I think they are the only Pets who are agreeable( personality wise) to a Model Building environment. They almost even seem interested in watching at times.
