Hi Dudes! Anybody heard anything about which Guillow's kits are going to be coming out as laser cut kits this year? Just curious

No idea, wish they would tell us. I have all the 500 series and the wood in all them are great.

I recently picked up a 500 series hurricane with the laser cut wood, it really is much nicer than the die cut. Can't wait to build it!

Elkhart,

I built the same kit recently. Do you have problems with the plastic cowling? It seems like Bi does not line up with the cowl, so I has to make my own front formers.

Hi All

I do not work for Guillow, but I was one of the first Beta Testers for the 1000 series. I built up the skeleton of the Thunderbolt. There were a few issues with that and I know they did at least one more testing of that model. At that time (about 2 years ago) they tested the 500, 1000 and the P-38 kits.

So all of the 1000 series, and the 2000 P-38 model should eventually come laser cut. I am sure the Guillow team is looking at sales and hopefully they decide to go forward with the project. I do not know of the timeline, but hope it will happen.
