Fokker Streaky Camo

I've just started building the Fokker Dr.1 and was wondering if anyone has tried recreating the streaky camo seen on many Dr.1's. Was thinking of printing directly onto tissue but can't find a large enough graphic to use. Was also thinking about painting the tissue after covering. Anyone have any suggestions?

This worked for me:Apply your basic coat of light blue.Let dry.With a 1/2"wide paint brush,dip it in green.On paper,wipe off most of the green,then streak away.Better to have too little paint than too much.You can always add more.Good luck.
