B-17G Part E5 ?????

I'm building the B-17G (2002) and have a question on part E5. I know it is part of the wing fillet at the trailing edge, but I can not figure out where it goes exactly and how to attach it.

After fiddling around with this piece, I think I have found where to attach it - or at least where it seems to match up with the plastic and paper fillets on the wing roots. I attached the E5 parts with a little Blue Tack and took some photos.
