Quality Control Issues?

Postby A26 Invader » Mon Jul 25, 2022 5:45 am

I love Guillows so my intent is not to knock the company but I have a question.

In two recent laser cut 500 series kits I've had missing balsa. My Rufe did not have the stringer sheet and my FW-190 I am currently working on is missing the E sheet which has the wing leading/trailing edge parts.

Has anyone else had issues with missing parts? I purchased the kits directly from Guillows so I'm a bit surprised. Just curious if this is a known issue.

OK I can admit when I'm wrong. Guillow's contacted me and sorted it out. I mistook that I needed an E sheet because that's what the wing parts are labeled as. Turns out the parts I needed were on the A and D sheets. All is well! Thanks Guillow's.

This is a tight market and no kit producers can afford not to be responsive to this issue.
