B-25

Postby Erwin » Wed Apr 23, 2008 1:08 am

Hi all,

Is the B-25 an easy kit to build ? Any problems to look out for ?

I intend to build it as a static model and cover the wings with 1,5 mm balsasheets.

I would say that since you have done such a great job building the B-24 and PBY then the smaller B-25 should be well within your capabilities.

Not having built the B-25 yet, all I can offer is a link to pictures of those that have.

I believe the one by RodN is covered in balsa sheet, but most pictures are from David Duckett who can make the most stunning models and generally sticks to silkspan over lots of extra wood.

Thank you for the link.

Looks like a straightforward build.

Thanks for the offer.

In fact I bought one from an American .50 Dollars incluiding postage to Belgium.

With the low Dollars thats 32 Euros. It sells for 62 Euros in Belgium. That's a big bargain for me.
