I agree with you 100%..I am a retired Chem/physics teacher age 60. I miss teaching but I could no longer relate to the majority of teens today. In 1969 my classes buitlt and flew rubber band powered planes an loved it. They learned much more than the physics involved. The school I retired from does not offer any vocational training. It seems that the disciple involed in crafting a progect by hand, slowly and patiently is a lost art. I am currently building my first model plane in 48 years. My computer wiz 19 year thinks that I am "Nut" outting some much time into something destined to hang from the ciling!
