Are your plans printed as one sheet or as many taped together?

BillP.

I see that your plans are tiled. Cool. I can do that . Dont want to pay kinkos.
What do you cover with? Have you tryied fiberglass cloth?
Seriously thinking of a p40 for the front yard. Something around 100 inch span with wind blown 3 blade prop. Got a big thumbs up from the wife. :D
If I do this, it would need to swivel into the wind and be able to withstand outdoor life. In your opion, does this seem realistic?
Thinking of 6 inch pvc pipe as a main spar. Maybe several 4 inch.
Of course, I need to pic your brain for experince. Would post the whole thing here and at my home forum.
Are you cool with that?

Does your spam contract really work?

Wouldn't a B-17 on a pole out in the front yard look cool or what!

Make it work like a weather vane, swinging into the wind, with props a turning................

It would. I'm kinda stuck on the p40. Its an underdog thing.
Not everybody gets to be a star player. I'm the kind of guy who ends up playing a supporting role yet is rarely noticed. Nothing against the 'stang, but it wasnt the ONLY plane that blasted the bad guys. The warhawk is ANOTHER example of guys doing the best they could with what was at hand. Some guys did very well with it. The warhawk made several "aces"
A giant set of tiger teeth in the yard will garner enough atention. Start a few conversions. Set those tonges to waggin'.

I love the P-40 too, I just bought a Top Flite one with a 60" w/span for a future r/c build project.

Yes, I would eagerly put up a P-40 in the yard too!

Currently working on a 54 inch taylorcraft.

Saw plans at Bob Holman for a 101 inch warhawk. I'm sure I can fly a 60 inch on rubber, but I need a 100 or better for the yard. It CANNOT fly, REGARDLESS of storm winds.

Ooooooooohhhhhhhhhhh............I could get into that..........

I have lots of mahogany 3/16" plywood, a scroll saw, etc............and of course a nice big heated shop.

Count me in, but be forewarned, I doubt if I am as fast as you.

I just won an auction at e-bay... Don't worry I paid a low ball figure... And, I just want the plans anyway...

But:

JUNKERS JU-87B STUKA
Item: 1002
Wing Span: 34¼"
Scale: 1/16

Image

In about a week, I'll receive this kit, and then I'll scan both the P-40 and the Stuka, and then we'll get down to bidness.

The Stuka will be 8 1/2 foot wingspan... **EVIL GRIN**
