Just wondering how many of you guys actually fly radio controlled. I just built a hurricane and was just wondering what kind motor, esc, and battery i would need to get it flying. Im going to use a DX6 tx and a ar6000 rx. and 2 servos not sure which ones yet, i was going to just use ailerons and an elevator

That link Xanadu gave you is going to be your best resource. I have a 400 series P-51 that I fly RC, but what worked for my 400 series kit isn't going to be appropriate for your 500 series hurricane. There is only one Hurricane RC conversion listed so make sure to check out some of the other 500 series conversions.

I have converted the 500 series Hellcat before, but I found that there needs to be some reengineering and a lot of patience when working with the smaller warbirds.
Check out www.parmodels.com. Paul Bradley did a great job on his Hellcat. Mine flew, but was underpowered. I would recommend picking up a motor similar to the Eflite Park 180 (the chinese 10gram equivalent is pretty inexpensive and would work well too).
