How to upload photos from my PC

G'day everyone,

I have just finished a series 400 P51 Mustang...Would love to show some build pics...is there a way to upload photos from my PC?

You need to upload them onto a different server that this site can link to them, as you are unable to load direct onto this site.

I use photobucket. http://photobucket.com/

Just open up a free account, upload your pics there, then you copy the link to that picture and paste it onto your message screen here.

G'day folks,

This is my first model plane build...The P51-D Mustang!!!...I was undecided wether to go plastic or Guillows...happy with my decision!!It was heaps of fun.I am now well on the way with my P40 Warhawk...will post some pics soon...Thanks again Xanadu.

Where you post your reply, put in the url of the picture (from below), select it to highlight it, then click "URL".
You need to right click on the picture in photobucket (or elsewhere) and click "properties, highlight the url listed there and copy it into the post where I said to put the url above.

Great job on the 51. I am interested in how you covered the frame. My first guess is sheet balsa insted of paper?

Hi PJ...Yes your first guess is correct!
I sheeted it in 1 and 1.3mm balsa...I wanted something stronger than tissue...something I could really go to town on with paint and weathering!!
I was very happy with how it turned out, and the size of the model is perfect for a static display.

Thanks for the reply Wayne, and again, she is a beauty.

My days and desire for flying models are long past, but I still enjoy the occasional stick kit built for static display only.
