Question about the heavy tag stock parts in the B-17.

Mornin all, I am building the B-17 as a static display model. In the kit there is a piece of heavy tag stock that has the movable rudder and wing sections. I would like. somehow to put those markings on my B-17. Any idea on how to do it?. I used silk span and have to be careful with puncture wounds. The ultra fine "Sharpie" would do a wonderful job but the tip is hard and I said the covering is prone to puncture wounds.
