i find it a little sad about how guillows has all these discontinued kits in high demand that could easily be re continued. i think they would make much more money than they would loose, i dont see why guillows doesnt take advantage of these opportunities.

I'm with you on this ADW. But, I think there must be more to the story.
How about those old WW series? Wouldn't a laser cut version of those kits
be nice to have? I volunteer to work at Guillow's and re-establish their legacy line of kits.

But, they are coming out with new kits. The Pilatus Porter looks like an excellent flier.

The Mossy box says "For .020 to .049 twin engine U-control" and elsewhere says it can be built for display. The similarly sized P-39 says it is for .049 U-control, .020 free flight, or rubber power. Apparently the P-39 is light enough that they think you can fly it on rubber power, but the Mossy to portly.

I've not yet seen the Guillow's Mossy fly, but others have converted the P-39 to R/C as shown here: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=827861

If the B-17 can be made to fly then someone can convert the Mossy to R/C if they had a mind to.

thats true, and its good that they are converting them to laster cut. it must be pretty complicated....

but i wanted to focus more on discontinued kits. it doesnt make sense in my mind. but guillows has been around for a long time, so they must know what they are doing. they surely know that people are waiting for something knew, something big from them.
