i thought that was what lukebozek was talking about.

this is true for most of the guillows kits for u control. i know the saint louis doesnt though. i dont think that bit is too complicated. starting this old engine is gunna b fun. i thought my Tee Dee had power... got to clean it really well though. it has some gunk in it.

The P-38 is arguably the best... Forget that, it is THE BEST fighter of world war two, and is epically AWESOME!

i actually think that the whole you control thing is probably easier than rubber powered flight. as long as you have a jacked up motor, what could posibly go wrong??

dont answer that.

how many turns do i turn the needle valve for starting this engine? also, i was trying to start it, and then the cylinder started to get stuck in the middle of compression. im not sure why. i did mention it could need some cleaning, but would that be the only reason?

i USED TO MAKE TTHE LEAD-OUTS out of piano wire, sorry about the Caps-Lock, and hooked them directly to the bell crank isnside the fuselage. But the wing on the corsair being gull-shaped isn't goint to make hooking something up in a straight line. I think I still have the directions from the Corsair and I am going to look this up.

It won't break. I used Nylon fishing line that was a braided 40 pound test. But for pure silky smooth control (in a flat wing like the Li'l Jumpin Bean by Carl Goldberg) nothing beats piano wire. I used to fold the wire over like the end of a paper clip and I attached fishing swivels to the control lines. I remember having an awful great time doing that. That Carl Goldberg was my all time favorite. It was designed to be built flat with small sections of the ribs that were removed after assembly. It really was a great flier. It had great hardware, blind nuts for the motor, small locking wire connectors to keep the wheels on the landing gear. Have a ball with that Corsair, it looks like a tough bird.
