Did you want to have the cookup on the SFA site or this Guillow site? Also, you might want to explain what a cookup is. You and I know, but others may not.

Cook-up? Never heard of it. Is that like a BBQ? I'll bring chicken wings!

cookup?

Postby Flyguy172 » Thu Aug 31, 2006 11:45 am

I to do not know what a cookup is. :( I do know it something to do with a web site that you do stuff on. :? But that is a very vague description. If I knew, I would (most likely) post an ok. :)

Hey guys,

I think a 'cookup' in this sense, is when a number of people start to build the same model at the same time. I guess that can then lead to a competition with the model with the longest flight time winning.

I've never done a free-flight guillows... I could be persuaded! I'll have to see if my LHS has a 150 for sale.

Sounds great, Freefall.

What sort of flight times should be expected from the 150? I wonder if there is enough room in my park. What's the life expectancy of one?! I love my r/c Guillows Fairchild 24, but it all seems very different letting it go with no control at all!

Well James i am not sure of flight times bu i beleive times of 2-3 minutes are not out of reach, lettin go is not hard just be sure to balance the model balance will make it or break it,and build light,
