WRT the current cox engines; a company bought the inventory of Cox, and is reselling them, but they are not machining new cylinders or pistons or or. Basically when they are gone they are gone.
I have flown a 400 mustang on .020, it was a big thrill. I was maybe 13. It soared up over some trees in a headwind, and then turned around when the engine ran out of gas, and glided right back down! awesome.
Now I need a new brass mounting plate for my .020, I damaged 2 of the 4 mounting holes.
Lots of these motors on ebay all the time.
